Time to renew your membership! Renewals are being sent out over the next couple of days

Which membership form should I be completing?

The financial (membership) year of RRGC runs from 1 July to 30 June in the following year.

NEW MEMBER APPLICANTS

Anyone interesting in joining the Rifle Rod & Gun Club (Manawatu) for the first time is required to complete the New Member Application form. This form is also used for past members wishing to rejoin the club.

A firearms licence is not required to join RRGC. However there are restrictions as to which activities you may participate.

  • Unlicensed members are restricted to Archery, .22 Silhouette and Air Rifle activities
  • Licensed members are restricted to non-Pistol activities. However, you may participate in pistol shooting activities up to 3 times before deciding whether to work towards your B endorsement.
  • Licensed members may sign up to a Pistol section at any time, at which point you will be required to register as a Pistol NZ Affiliate member through RRGC.
  • Unlicensed members wishing to pursue both their firearms licence and B endorsement (including Junior members) require approval before being accepted into a pistol shooting section.

If you are under 16 and wish to join a section of the club, we have arrangements in place to facilitate your membership. Contact the club secretary to discuss your options.

Note: New membership applications are now open for the  2026/2027 financial year.

EXISTING CLUB MEMBERS WHO ARE RENEWING

Members who were financial for the 2025/2026 year of the club will shortly receive an email with a link to renew membership. Pistol shooters renewals should be completed by the end of June 2026 to ensure we have the correct information for reporting. All other members will begin renewals in July 2026.  If you have any questions or have not received a link to a membership form, please contact the club secretary(secretary@rrgc.nz

B ENDORSED SHOOTERS TRANSFERRING TO RRGC

If transferring from another Pistol club to RRGC, please fill out the online application form. Your previous club should also complete the inter-club transfer form on the Pistol NZ website and submit the form to both Pistol NZ and RRGC.

B ENDORSED SHOOTERS WHOSE HOME CLUB IS NOT RRGC

You are welcome if you belong to another pistol club and want to shoot at RRGC as a secondary club. Don't hesitate to complete the online application form, and a link to our member's registration form will be sent to you.

When RRGC is not your home club, you are responsible for ensuring your Pistol NZ Affiliation Fee is paid and match attendance records are completed and submitted at the end of the year for B endorsement reporting purposes. We recommend that you maintain a manual record of all matches attended at RRGC.
