    ROD AND GUN CLUB     (MANAWATU) Inc

    The club provides nine ranges for various shooting sports
    including Archery, Rifle, Pistol and Black
    Powder Rifle Shooting.

     

  • ARCHERY

    Club day is every Sunday rain or shine. The
    section would like you to come along and enjoy
    yourself.

  • ISSF

    At RR&GC we shoot several events including 25m
    Pistol, centre fire, rapid fire Pistol and the
    standard match.

    BLACK POWDER

    As our section name suggests we shoot older style firearms which use Black Powder as a propellant

    IPSC is a practical Shooting sport that involves Shooting on the move, negotiating obstacles

    ISSF PISTOL

    ISSF Pistol is the first discipline new shooters learn at our club, so there is a big focus on safety

    RIFLE SIGHTING IN

    The Club has the nearest Sighting In Range to Palmerston North. 

    SERVICE RIFLE

    As long as there have been personal projectile weapons used in war, people have practised with them off the battlefield. 

    SERVICE PISTOL

    Service pistols test your entire pistol shooting skills in a 90-shot match, and you don’t have to have a fancy pistol.​​​​​​​
